About Orlando l.Green

Orlando “OG” Green was many things to the community and his beloved alma mater Buchtel High School, but to most he was dad, husband, son, brother, cousin, uncle, coach and friend. 

Orlando Green was the true definition of kindness, compassion, commitment, perseverance and hard-work. Green had a passion for helping young athletes achieve their success through Track and Field and beyond. He always gave of his time whether it was volunteering at middle school track meets or serving as security for basketball games, he filled in needed gaps. Green took every opportunity and chance to give back to the community that was so dear to him. Green was rich in spirit and personality. Orlando “OG” Green left behind a legacy that the Orlando Green Foundation will continue.
